Hello, my name is Carolyn Michaelis. I am an aspiring multimedia journalist. I have recently graduated from California State University, Sacramento where I majored in International and Inter-cultural Communication Studies. During my college years, I hosted a bi-lingual television show for Global TV Indonesia overseas in Jakarta, worked with the Ministry of Culture and Tourism as a guest speaker to assist in promoting future tourism strategies for the country of Indonesia and I have also interned at NBC-affiliate KCRA/KQCA-TV in Sacramento. I am also an active and proud member of the Asian American Journalists Association, Radio Television Digital News Association and the Sacramento Press Club.
I have created this website to showcase some of my work from both overseas and from KCRA/KQCA-TV. As I begin my journey as a great multi-media journalist, I am always looking for new opportunities to grow and learn.
